2023 Fremantle International Street Arts Festival
If you blinked and missed Christmas, not to worry, Easter is nearly upon us!
This Easter long weekend, the 2023 Fremantle International Street Arts Festival will be returning to the streets. A phenomenal line up of performers and activities are scheduled, with family friendly, accessible and exciting celebrations of the local busking and performance culture.
The program for the weekend can be found here, along with background information on the festival, FAQS, traveling to and from the festival and performer profiles. There will be a few road closures around town to encourage people to walk around Fremantle and enjoy the festivities on foot. Walking around will be the perfect way to visit the different performance areas, grab a refreshing drink at pop up bars and enjoy Fremantle's famous alfresco dining extending out into the street.
Our store will be open throughout the festival and we will be putting on a few special events ourselves. If you know our store and have visited when Spud the greyhound has been working, his talented owner and resident artist, Kim, will be doing a live painting outside the store on Friday the 7th. We will also be creating an installation of mirrors for some fun selfies, featuring the beautiful heritage listed buildings as your backdrop.
Common Ground Collective Fremantle prides itself on bringing artists together and celebrating their products and brands. We are excited that we can be a part of a festival that shares our ethos and brings performing artists together to celebrate their talents and performances.
We are looking forward to being a part of these festivities and can't wait to celebrate with our family and friends. To plan your weekend, check out the calendar of events here.
Have a safe and happy Easter,
The Common Ground Team x
